Always appreciate your feedback, Søren🙌🏻! And yes, in hindsight, I think that's when the street photographer seeds were planted🙏.

I loved Malta, especially Valletta, but enjoyed Gozo even more - so much that after a day trip there we ditched our accom and moved over for the remainder of our stay! The slow pace, the beauty… much more my style. Thanks for a great post!

I'm glad it brought back good memories, Meghan🙋🏼‍♀️! And I'm with you on that one, Gozo seemed very peaceful and generally a great place for a slow-paced holiday🌿

Those wide images are particularly alluring. Would love to visit sometime. Cheers~

Thanks a lot, Hanz🙋🏼‍♀️! They're all phone shots, that's why they're considerably wider than what I normally shoot.

Hope you'll get the chance to visit one day, it's really worth it if you like more than a beach holiday🏖!

Lovely photographs! I have Malta on my list and am glad to read this. The Blue Lagoon is a perfect photograph - the kind of SP I love! Did you enjoy the food by the way?

I'm glad to hear that, Juliette! I'd definitely consider it anywhere between May-June and September-October. The summers seem to be (too) hot & dry.

But it really is a beautiful country, and the food was great as far as I remember - but you can't really go wrong with Mediterranean cuisine, can you🍝🦐?

I have been to Malta 30 years ago (man, I am old…). I remember it was hot and dry and not very green (compared to other island I’ve been to). I also remember the cool green public buses which probably are history now. But I have plenty of negatives of them somewhere… I love the last photo - the colour of the water! 😍

Oh Susanne, you're definitely not old - but time sure does fly! I'm pretty sure their buses we modernised by now (still green, though!). I also loved all the old red phone booths!

It was slso definitely more agreeable to visit in May or October - fewer tourists, and temperatures around 25° 🙌🏻!

How often have you visited?

Three times, in two different seasons - but always off-season, which seems to make a huge difference🙌🏻!

Great read and lovely pictures, dear, as always.

I have been to Malta twice, and while I found the island beautiful, my experience with the people there made it a trip I can NOT count among my memorable ones.

Thanks a lot for reading, as always, Dan! Sorry to hear about your experience, though. I've only encountered friendly locals who were proud of their little island, but it might depend on the season as well - we've always travelled off-season and chances are they're less fed up with tourists then😁

Happy Easter🌷!
